I’m just posting this as a courtesy to anyone who owns a Kia:
My car was broken into and stolen on November 25th. It was a red Kia Optima 2018. They ended up finding it 17 mins from our apartment. I’ve noticed another Kia Optima in the parking lot near my building that also has a busted back window. Please be cautious and make sure your Kia is up to date on software. I’ve also heard the police station has clubs to put on your steering wheel for free.
Again, just putting this out as a courtesy message to my neighbors!

Please stop leaving 2609 door open for extended periods of time, i know it makes it easier to go in and out while detailing cars or whatever you are doing, but it makes it so cold in our apartments! Its below freezing outside. I understand taking in groceries but this is hours at a time

There is a young orange/white cat on Whitethorn Ct that is super friendly and has been following me while walking my dog. Unsure if it is supposed to be outside and worried about it since it’s so friendly and even followed me up to the front door.

Please be mindful when yall are having parties. You don’t live in a house, please be respectful to people that live on the first floor. I have two kids under 5 and a elderly mom nobody wants to hear loud music at 11:30 at night.

My son can not go outside without being bullied. His cousin is here to visit (never been here before) and they went to take our dog to the dog park… Didn’t even get inside the park and kids were throwing things at them calling them names. They quickly turned around to come home and these kids followed them throwing rocks and punching them in the back as they were trying to go home (I have pictures of his back and face with marks from the assault). These kids were in elementary school, 2-3rd grade. This is NOT the first time my child has come home from the park with marks on him from the children bullying him. This HAS to stop. I’m furious!

Hello! Last night I found the sweetest cat outside of 2736 Timberly. It walked right up to me purring and demanding to be pet. I feed a lot of the strays in the complex so I brought it food but it was very clear it was not a stray and it followed me inside without prompting. It is mostly white with some grey/black splotches on its back, legs/paws, and a couple of unique splotches on its face. It is definitely a chunkier kitty with an active tail. Keeps herself very well groomed and loves a cuddle. Does not like other cats (or at least was very aggressive at the sight of my cat). The big spot on its back kind of looks like a rotisserie chicken lol. I'm taking it to get microchip scanned tonight but I won't be able to keep it for long. Reach out to me if you think it may be your cat and I can send pictures!

Yooo what’s up everybody. So unfortunately my bike was stolen last night (12-18-23). If y’all could please be on the lookout for a black electric bike with white letters on the side that say GOTRAX I would really appreciate it. I’m the short curly haired guy that kinda walks funny. If the person that stole my bike is reading this please return it and the charger that was stolen as well and there’ll be no questions asked. That bike truly helped me out getting around town since I don’t drive and it’s hard for me to walk.

Is anyone else experiencing terrible WiFi connection? Like…a lot? It seems like I lose connection several times a week and Xfinity isn’t helpful because I’m on the apartment complex’s plan….just looking for troubleshooting ideas (beyond, restarting the system ??)

Has anyone seen a greyish / brownish cat witj near 6721 Gateshead Lane and around the area? He’s a little bit chunky, got black spots and stripes and has a skinny tail and is a little round. He’s got a roundish face and big green eyes and kinda looks like a raccoon and a cat mixed together and he often walks with his tail downward / kinda timidly. ?? I can’t seem to find him today and I’m freaking out. He’s a fully indoor cat.

I believe my bicycle (a light teal Firmstrong 26” women’s beach cruiser with a wide bluish black saddle) was stolen sometime during the day on Saturday, 11/4/23 sometime between 10:45 AM and 4:45 PM while I was at work. It was under the stairwell. Yesterday (11/5), I found the rear mirror that was attached to the handlebar on the mulch next to the entrance of 6721 Gateshead Lane so I’m pretty sure it was taken. If you’ve seen it around or have any information about my bicycle, please let me know ASAP. If you took it, please just return it, I don’t really care who took it, I just want my bike back. I’ve already filed a missing property / possible theft report with the police today.

The white with black feral cat that I call Lady Bridgeview has been hanging around some of the buildings on Bridgeview since the day I moved in two years ago. There are at least a handful of us that provide food and water from time to time. I think there is at least one other, but on some other part of the property

Anyone else living at Summit Keystone notice a brown recluse spider/ have to have pest control? I was cleaning and noticed in the patio door a spider web near the base of the door between the outer screen and the window. So, when I began to use a broom to remove the web a decently sized all brown spider bolted out onto the patio faster than I have witnessed other spiders moving. The spider also seemed to have a funneled web that went down into the door jam beneath the floor that I thoroughly prodded with a stick after discovering it to ensure no other spiders were there. Not sure if this was a brown recluse or not but I thought I’d check to see if anyone else living here has dealt with brown recluses? I'm not really concerned about other spiders but I have a cat and don’t want it to get hurt. If nobody else has had issues with brown recluse spiders then I will just not worry about it because it would be a more wide-spread issue.
